Many centuries passed away, Vietnamese peoples have attained freedom and happiness. It's not easy for us to get those things but we had bravery, union... More ever ,Uncle Ho, who is a great father of all Vietnamese, a talent politician, led our peoples to succeed in fighting against enemies and have a new life. Nowadays, there has a museum of Uncle Ho in Ha Noi city and i still remember the first time when i visited there, it left me a lot of unforgettable impressions.
that was a summer day, i and my family came to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum at about eight o'clock. At that time, there had had a lot of people standing in 2 lines on a large square.I felt very interested in information that the tour guide told to us when i stood outside the museum. For example: this mausoleum is a large memorial to the Vietnamese peoples. It' s located in the center of Ba Dinh square, which is the place where Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independent of September 2, 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. When i heard those things, i felt completely proud of our country's history, it seemed to be that i was hearing big claps of millions people when Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independent. Some more information about the mausoleum were that Construction work began on September 2,1973.The mausoleum was inspired by Lenin's mausoleum in Moscow but it had different architectural elements . In fact, after going through a long path and an extremely large square, i and others stepped on a sloping roof. The exterior was made of gray granite while the interior was gray, black and red polished stone. The portico of mausoleum had the words" CHU TICH HO CHI MINH" meaning "President Ho Chi Minh". In my opinion, this building was both precise and imposing, it made everybody who came here felt peaceful and the time seemed to not go by. For instance, the structure was 21.6 metres high and 41.2 metres wide. The plaza in front of the masoleum was divided into 240 green squares seperated by pathways. The garden surrounding had nearly 250 different species of plants and flowers, all from different regions of Vietnam. The time when all of us came into the museum, i had a totally brand new feeling. The air here was cooler than outside. It made visitors feel more comfortable. At that time i was very both happy and excited because i was going to see the best admiration person of our peoples. Ho Chi Minh's body was preserved in the cooled, center hall of the mausoleum, with a military honor guard. The body lied in a glass case with dim lights, the white face of Uncle Ho looked so gentle , it seemed to be that he was just sleeping. Looking his face, no one thought that he had devoted all his life for a difficult, dangerous struggle. The mausoleum is closed occasionally for restoration and preservation work on the body but is normally opened daily from 9.00 am to noon to the public line of visitors, including visiting foreigners who want to pay their respect to Ho Chi Minh.
Although Ho Chi Minh has gone far away forever, he still lives in the bottom of heart of every Vietnamese. To me, i 'll never forget the time when i came to the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum which helped me to know more useful information and left me a lot of memories.
